Our niche

The MMORPG its players grew up on, rebuilt for the browser.

A generation learned online worlds on classic MMORPGs: job advancement, cards, MVP hunts, a map ground down with friends. The genre moved to idle phone games and big downloads. Elysseus is for the players who never stopped missing the original.

  1. 01

    For the veterans

Adults who played classic MMORPGs and want that feel again: a job to master, a party to hunt with, a boss worth bringing friends to.

  2. 02

    Browser-native

A full 3D world that opens in a tab, on desktop and phone. No launcher, no install, no store.

  3. 03

    Played, not watched

No idle farming and no auto-levelling. Every level is earned by playing.

  4. 04

    Fair by design

Shards are earned, never bought. World bosses reward how much you helped, not how much you spent.

  5. 05

    Built to be owned

Next, on Sui: legendary gear you truly own, and a world players build with us. See the roadmap.

The world

Choose a map

Every map is hand-made, one element each, and many are drawn from history and myth. Dungeons run floors: some climb into the sky, some go down into the dark.

Job book

Five classes. 35 jobs.

Start as a Swordman, Thief, Archer, Mage or Acolyte. Fill your job bar, advance at Lv 45, 90 and 150, and choose a branch. This is the game’s own job book: every job, every skill, with the card it shows in-game.

Opening the job book…

The super quest

One weapon per class, forged not bought.

At the top of the tower, each of the five classes forges its signature weapon: a grade above legendary, with its own element and rune. Farmed from boss relics and ore, never sold, never lost.

  1. Swordman earth

    Sunder, the Last Oath

Two hands, no shield, and nothing that moves it.

  2. Thief water

    Whisper of Long Night

Every strike lands twice. The second one is the quiet one.

  3. Archer wind

    Stormcall

Wardens stop mattering. That is the whole gift.

  4. Mage fire

    Aether Spindle

It gives back more than it is given, and asks for the difference.

  5. Acolyte water

    Dawnkeeper

The only sustain a priest has that does not cost a cast.

Built on Sui

Owned, not licensed.

The world runs in your browser today, and the game you play stays exactly as it is. What comes next is ownership: the gear you earn, the account you sign in with, and the world you walk become yours to keep and trade. Sui is how we make that real.

On Sui
Gear that is really yours
A legendary drop becomes an object you own: earned in play, tradable to another player, and never sold by us. No studio can take it back.
Sign in like a person
Google or Apple, no wallet, no seed phrase. zkLogin quietly turns your normal sign-in into an account that’s really yours. The chain’s fees are on us, so you never see them.
A market with no house cut
Trade gear directly with other players, and we never take a cut. When a sword changes hands, its whole history rides with it: who forged it, who refined it, which MVP dropped it.
The world, in the open
Every map, quest and line of lore is published to a public storage network instead of one company’s database. Anyone can read them, and no one can quietly change them.
No transaction wins a fight
Combat, levelling and loot stay exactly where they are, in the game. Owning a sword can never buy you a hit.
The First Stone, the endgame field where three MVPs stand
The First Stone, where a legendary is earned, not sold.
The Forge of Hephaestus, climbed to forge gear
The Forge of Hephaestus, where gear is made, never bought.

Where Elysseus goes next.

From a classic MMORPG in a browser tab to an open world on Sui that players build, own and live in. Stages are in order; dates follow as each one is ready.

  1. 00Live

    The world, in early access

The foundation is built and playable in a browser today.

    • 35 jobs, four tiers. Five classes branch into thirty advanced jobs, each casting its own skills with its own effects and sounds.
    • A hand-made world. Five cities joined by roads and the Warp Girl, 3D fields and multi-floor dungeons drawn from history and myth.
    • Play together. Parties of six on shared maps, map MVPs on real respawn timers, and a world boss rewarded by contribution, not rank.
    • A Lv 200 showcase. Any of the 35 jobs at full power in The First Stone, open to anyone, no login.

    Elysseus on Sui

Ownership and trust move to Sui, without changing how the game plays.

    • Walrus for the world’s content. Maps, quests and lore published to Walrus, Sui’s public storage network: durable, verifiable, and not held by one company’s servers. Live character state stays in the game’s own backend.
    • Sign in without a wallet. Google or Apple sign-in with fees sponsored, so there is nothing crypto to learn. Who may enter a guild hall or publish to a plot is proven by what your account holds, not trusted to a company’s list.
    • Legendary equipment as Sui NFTs. Legendary and super-grade gear minted as Sui objects carrying its full history: which MVP dropped it, who forged it, every refine. Earned in play and tradable between players. We never sell it.
  3. Q2 2027Planned

The open world: editor and SDK

The tools we build Elysseus with, opened to every player.

    • A world editor for everyone. The same editor our maps are made in: terrain, set pieces, rosters, floors and bosses, in the browser.
    • An SDK on open standards. Open formats for models, layouts and encounters, and a published rules specification, so a dungeon built anywhere runs everywhere.
    • Your piece of the world. Creators own their plots and dungeons on-chain. New content passes the same automated balance gates as ours before it goes live, and creators share in what their worlds earn.
  4. Q2 2027Planned

The Sui ecosystem, inside the world

Partner apps from across Sui, met as places in the game rather than links out of it.

    • A record store in the city. With music partners such as Miso: walk into a shop in Fontara, listen to tracks in-game, and buy the full release on-chain with Sui payments.
    • Owned, and paid fairly. Purchases land in the player’s wallet and play as their in-game soundtrack, and artists are paid directly, without a middleman.
  5. Q3 2027Planned

    Elysseus Finance

Traditional and decentralised finance on the same platform as the game.

    • A trading platform. Built with regulated trading partners and DeFi protocols, reached from the same Elysseus account and wallet.
    • Compliance first. Identity checks and regional availability as the law requires, with nothing offered where it is not permitted.
    • Walled off from play. No market position, balance or trade ever buys power in a fight. The game stays fair.
  6. Q4 2027Planned

    Infrastructure at scale

One world for many more players, wherever they are.

    • Regional zone servers. Maps run at the network edge, close to their players, with instances that split and merge as crowds come and go.
    • Built for big events. Load-tested capacity for world-boss nights, live monitoring, and storage on Walrus that survives any single outage.
    • Cheat-proof by design. The rules are deterministic, so the server can replay and check any result a player claims.
  7. Q1 2028Vision

    Agents as players

An agentic framework that lets AI agents join the world on their owners’ behalf.

    • Delegated play. An owner grants an agent permission to act for them: to run errands, trade, gather or join a party, and can revoke it at any time.
    • Same rules, always labelled. Agents play by the same rules as people, are always marked as agents, and act only within the permissions their owner has granted.
    • Human boards stay human. Rankings and contribution rewards keep agents and people apart.
  8. Q2 2028Vision

    A living world

Every NPC a real character, and every story your own.

    • NPCs you can talk to. Every NPC agent-powered, holding real conversations in character, remembering you and what you have done.
    • A story only you have. Storylines shaped by your progress, your job, your deeds and your standing, so no two players live the same tale.
    • Held to the canon. A written lore bible and automated checks keep every conversation true to the world and safe to play in.
